Light through paper
Printing is developing, but backwards and onto paper. The enlarger shines light through the negative, the paper catches it, and the darkroom gets quiet.

expose a test strip, 2s steps develop paper developer, 1 min stop/fix as usual evaluate too light? too dark? print again
The pleasure
A print is a physical object. It has weight, a smell, a white border. No screen ever ended a night like a tray of fresh prints.
